005.00 Class Filicopsida
		Trivial names: Ferns
		Statistics: 15 orders, 53 families, 310 genera, 9300-10700 species
[11501 species and 454 hybrids listed.
041.000 Order Athyriales
Statistics: 6 families, 54 genera, 1782-2215 spp. [2362 species and 88 hybrids listed]
045.0000 Family Athyriaceae Alston; Taxon 5: 25 (1956) s. str.
Statistics: 10 genera, 546-698 spp. [772 species and 56 hybrid listed]
		Revision date: 20.07.2001
Remarks: according to PCR results, the family has probably to be divided.
There are two groups: Athyrium, Adenoderris and Cornopteris, which are monophyletic,
and the group Diplazium, Dictyodroma, Diplaziopsis, Hemidictyum and Deparia, which
is monophyletic with Thelypteridaceae and therefore has to be included there as
subfamily. At this time we have retained the traditional scheme to avoid confusion.
		= Dryopteridaceae subfam. Athyrioideae
		= Dryopteridaceae Tribus Physematieae J. Sm.; 1875
