or: How many fancy letters do I have after my name?

I am Robert Greenfield Mus. B., Dip. Tchg.

Well. Hmmm.
In 1996 I graduated from the University of Canterbury with a Mus. B. (bachelor of Music). My degree includes 24 points of Chemistry, including one paper at second year. In my first year I did equal points in chemistry and music, and made my big decision at the end of that year as to which discipline to follow.

Neither composition nor performance featured strongly in my degree; harmony and counterpoint were my faves. Without these composition and performance isn't as fun anyway....

I would almost certainly have continued my studies to a higher level had there not been financial constraints present. I thank the Government greatly for that wee gem; however....

Piece of paper Number 2:

Since I was very young I have had a desire to teach. What better place next than the Christchurch College of Education (Teacher's college)!
An enjoyable year there and 4 weeks per term 'on section' in a school gave me another qualification:
Dip. Tchg. (Diploma of teaching)

Other pieces of paper:

Classical guitar Grade 8 (merit)
Double Bass Grade 6

Both of these were completed some years ago. I must get off my chuff and gain my ATCL on classical guitar. That would give me some more fancy letters too!
Anyhow, I promised myself that I would....lazy bugger....
